My friends and I are creating an urban native wildflower sanctuary here in the heart of East Nashville's Historic Edgefield neighborhood. We're working to create a place where native plants, trees, insects, birds, animals and human beings can flourish -- that means putting down roots, growing vigorously and blooming.

Now, I've been playing around with planting the native wildflowers for a long time, but recently I realized that now more than ever, we need a safe place where life, in all its diversity, can really flourish. So, I'm stepping it up, taking my game to the next level.

I'm hoping that you will come along with me on this journey so that we can all learn together how to celebrate and nurture life in all its diverse forms.
